Apostille & Certification Services
What is an Apostille: An Apostille is an international certification that authenticates a public document so it will be legally recognized in a foreign country. Think of it as an extra layer of verification. While a notary public verifies the identity of the person signing a document within the United States, the State government issues an Apostille to verify that the notary’s seal and signature are genuine.
When do you need an Apostille: You will typically need an Apostille if you are presenting American documents to a foreign government for purposes such as:
Getting married abroad
Applying for dual citizenship or foreign residency
Working or studying in another country
Conducting international business or corporate transactions
Adopting a child from another country
Apostille vs. Embassy Legalization
Apostilles are only valid in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention. If the country you are sending documents to is not a member, your documents must go through a multi-step process known as Embassy or Consular Legalization.
Not sure what your document needs? Don’t stress, contact us today, tell us which country your document is heading to and we will handle the rest!
Our Full-Service Apostille Concierge: We Handle the Bureaucracy for You
Getting a document authenticated for international use can be a confusing, time-consuming maze of state forms, long lines, mailing delays, and strict legal requirements. One minor mistake can result in your application being rejected, forcing you to start all over again.
Skip the stress. We handle the entire process from start to finish. With our Full-Service Apostille Concierge, you don’t have to figure out the paperwork, stand in lines at government offices, or worry about mailing logistics.
How Our 4-Step Process Works:
Document Review & Notarization: We review your documents to ensure they meet strict state guidelines. If a new notarization is required, we can perform it properly on the spot.
Application & Processing: We fill out all necessary government application forms, calculate the exact state fees, and handle the physical submission.
The Waiting Game: We act as your agent. We submit your documents directly to the Secretary of State (or federal agency) and track the progress.
Safe Delivery: Once your document is successfully issued its Apostille certificate, we return the finalized legal documents securely to you or ship them directly to your international destination.
Why Choose Our Full-Service Option?
Zero Guesswork: We know exactly what the Secretary of State requires for a document to be approved.
Save Time: Avoid hours of standing in government buildings or waiting weeks for standard mail-in processing.
Done Right the First Time: We prevent the common formatting mistakes that lead to costly rejections and delays.
Documents we Handle:
Vital Records: (Birth, Marriage, Death Certificates)
Personal Identity Documents: (Passport, Driver's License, Copy of Social Security Card)
Corporate & Legal Documents: (Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, Power of Attorney, Trademarks)
Education Documents: (Diplomas, Transcripts)
Background Checks: (Local, State, or FBI)
Other Documents: We handle many other document types not listed above; please contact us to confirm your specific document type.
